Bio-gnosis

Bio is life. Gnosis is knowledge or recognition. Especially such knowledge that comes from deep insights. Biognosis then is the deep knowledge of life and its various manifestations. Because in the West many of us - me upfront - have lost our deep knowledge of life forms, it is exceptionally difficult to tend and care for these. The tale risks for us as a species that come form this lost connection are revealed through phenomena such as biodiversity loss, climate change, and the sixth extinction.
